UniTech upgrades to Windows 7 – on public release October 22nd 2009

UniTech workstations have all been seamlessly upgraded to Windows 7, the latest Microsoft operating system.

Benefits already experienced by the team include performance and productivity. Installation was the quickest and easiest of all Windows operating systems to date; all drivers were found and installed automatically.

UniTech’s Developers have been making use of virtualization with Hyper-V on the desktop thanks to Windows Virtual PC, also used for XP Mode to run older programs without any difficulties.
